Midstream Lighting, a world leader in aviation, maritime and sports LED lighting technology, will showcase its brand new Modus S1500 floodlight for the first time at next month’s Light + Building Autumn Edition in Frankfurt.
The S1500, a lightweight sports LED floodlight, is a higher-powered version of Midstream’s bestselling Modus S series luminaire. 60 of the S1500s were recently installed at Hillsborough Stadium – home to England’s Sheffield Wednesday F.C. – and are already delivering significant power and cost savings for the League One club.
“Events like Light + Building are always a highlight in our calendar, they’re a perfect opportunity to spend more time speaking to the people who really care,” says James Brunt, Sports Director at Midstream. “With this show in particular, we’re looking forward to catching up with many of our partners from around the world and discussing some of the exciting products and projects that we’re currently working on. Our flagship Modus 1500 is the most lightweight and compact fixture in the market for that level of light output, making it a pound for pound world champion!”
In addition to the new luminaire, a range of other world-leading lighting products from the Midstream line will also be on show. These include the energy-efficient, low-maintenance Modus 450, the compact but powerful Modus R1000 sports light, and the rigorously designed, maritime-specific Docker 300. Members of the Midstream team will be on hand to answer any questions relating to those products.
With the opening of Light + Building also coinciding with Germany’s Oktoberfest, guests at the show will also be able to enjoy a little local hospitality when dropping by Midstream’s stand at the end of each day. Happy Hour drinks and other refreshments will be served from 4.30pm daily, while early risers can also enjoy “Breakfast at Midstream” from 10am on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th October.
Visitors to Light + Building Autumn Edition will be able to find Midstream on Stand D61 in Hall 4 at the Messe Frankfurt from Sunday 2nd to Thursday 6th October. Tickets to the event can be purchased from the official Light + Building website.
