We’re proud to announce we are now the Official Lighting Partner of England Athletics.
Working together, we’ll bring our world-beating lighting solutions to the more than 1,400 England Athletics affiliated clubs and their 130,000 plus registered athletes. Our partnership will focus on improving club facilities by educating them on the benefits best-in-class, award-winning LED lighting can bring.
Better lighting doesn’t just help to improve performance on the track and field. Our LED lighting solutions have proven time and time again how they can drive athletics facilities goals such as:
• Dramatically cutting energy costs.
• Reducing the need for expensive maintenance, saving vast costs year on year.
• Future-proofing facilities for years to come via extensive warranties
• And minimising environmental damage.
We’ll be offering the entire England Athletics community a host of webinars, in-person training, and supportive guides so they can understand exactly what we as a team can achieve.
That’s not all. They’ll also be able to take advantage of our lighting health checks, consultation services, advice on financial support and grants, plus lighting designs for their clubs – all for free.
Michael Short, Head of Marketing at Midstream, says:
“The strategic vision and mission of England Athletics – with the aims of growing opportunities, increasing participation, and improving standards and quality – drew us to the partnership. Here at Midstream Lighting, our Sports Division aligns perfectly with these goals. And we hope to be able to support England Athletics, and the athletics community, with our world-class lighting solutions that we believe can help get more athletes participating across the entire country and improve quality and standards on and off the track and field.”
Chris Jones, CEO of England Athletics goes on to say:
“England Athletics’ ambition is to create an innovative and inspiring network of sustainable athletics facilities, with the capacity to meet both current and future demand across England. Our new partnership with Midstream Lighting will help us realise that ambition, bringing sustainable and innovative lighting solutions to our existing stock of 400m facilities as well as supporting the development of fit for purpose lighting models for a new generation of athletics facilities.”
James Brunt, Midstream’s Director of Sports, supported this by saying:
“I’ve been part of the sports community for over 15 years, working to help facilities across the UK become best in class by providing lighting solutions that are long-lasting, of the highest quality, and commercially viable to support their facilities goals and needs. Our team’s experience is unrivalled in the industry, whether it’s financial and grant support right through to design and installation, we’re here for the England Athletics community.”
