PROJECT CASE STUDY

Rosegreen Community Development

The Gaelic Athletic Association is an integral part of the Rosegreen community. The club at Rosegreen was launched in 1955, and in the early days was very successful. However, in the 60s the club went into decline – partly due to emigration to England and the USA – and it closed in 1970. But, thanks to a population increase in the late 70s, the club reopened in 1981.

The challenge

As part of the community development a new-build sports facility needed to be constructed. We worked with PST Sports, a specialist artificial grass pitch company, to deliver this new addition for Rosegreen.

Our solution

The design we created for the new-build included erecting four 18m floodlighting masts. A total of 20 Modus R1200 floodlights were then attached to these masts.
